At their recent meeting President Tim Barker reminded everyone of the Bridge Day planned for 9th September, there are still a few places left.
The popular event takes place at the village hall at the cost of £12.50 per head and includes tea and coffee during the breaks plus an excellent roast luncheon .Good prizes for the winners and a raffle. Anyone wishing to book should phone secretary Mike Phillips 01526 342036.
All proceeds from the event goes to local Lion Club Charities.
The Lions in conjunction with Woodhall Spa Rotary are organising another FREE fun day for youngsters on 13th September at Gartree School.
Various games could include Football, Rugby, Archery, Skittles, Tennis Speed, Horseshoes, Target Bowls, wheelchair obstacle race and others. Medals awarded.
Refreshments will be available, barbeque, tombola. There are spaces for some charity stalls, if you would like to book ring Mike (As above).
